China Scholarship: PhD Program in National Development Studies

China scholarship in 2026 for a PhD program in National Development Studies for 3 years at Peking University is now open for government officials (Heads of Departments/Senior Admin Officers/Mid to Senior management professionals in related fields.  Applicants must have possessed a Master’s degree and five (5) years work experience in related fields”.  Applicants must be in good health and to be recommended by a government agency

Other requirements :

  1. Must meet the age limit for GoK scholarship
  2. Must take Leave Without Pay before taking up the award until the approving Committee approves the in-service (this is not guaranteed)
  3.  Must be recommended by the government agency and the PRC Embassy
  4. Must provide a health certificate or physical examination report issued by a local public hospital.
  5. This is considered competitive, must have sat the TOEFL or IELTS (TOEFL 100 or above Internet based TOEFL/TOEFL 600 or above in Paper based TOEFL/IELTS = 7.00 or above in overall band score.
